Dirty

Gate wrote and directed a play once. Dan thinks it was pretty good. So did quite a few others.
It was produced by Theatre503 in London.

Dirty tells the story of two young brothers living in a run-down council flat in London. As the play progresses, various threats from neighbours make it impossible for them to go anywhere. First they can’t leave the area, then the building, then their flat. In the end, as the stage light narrows down to illuminate nothing but the couch, the brother who always aspired to so much is left looking at his going-nowhere sibling wondering who of the two had it right all along.
